I’ve changed but damn I really don’t know some people anymore.
Looking back on this year, i’ve changed a lot. I kind of destroyed almost every moral code that I used to follow and well to say the least I have no idea who I am anymore but I could give less of a shit haha.
New years was honestly one of the strangest days i’ve ever experienced in my life. It was pretty much a scene out of Hangover…long story short, I spent the exact time of new years festivities on the CTA red line. Dale and I ended up drinking with 6 random people and it was chill as hell (we drank our own drinks of course). I don’t really recall much after that LOL but I ended up walking around in chicago till 6 AM because the yellow line wasn’t up until then with many crazy things happening in between and then I ended up waking up in Dale’s car alone. Hilarity ensued.
If anybody is curious about the craziness of my new years day you can just ask me sometime because i’d love to share it but i’m way too lazy to type it and most of you guys are too lazy as shit to read it haha.
I decided that if I don’t get into Nursing i’m going to become a forensic science major. I actually always wanted to go into forensic sciences but figured it would be too hard for me to do… I think I can handle it though. Let’s see how this goes haha
Haven’t posted in a while but whatever haha XD
This random rant will be about how I think it’s so dumb that i’m basically denied what I wanted to become which was a nurse practitioner. (I haven’t been yet but i’m pretty much expecting it because I haven’t been doing as well as I should be in school…) I don’t expect anybody to read this and i’m pretty much typing this out because i’m just frustrated at how it seems as if grades really are the only important part of a student.
I understand that certain professions require more knowledge than others such as becoming a teacher or a scientist but I don’t understand why in nursing they only decide who gets in based on the grades. Nursing is more hands on than most other professions so I don’t see why they don’t have interviews to actually see if the person is patient with others or genuinely cares about others and etc.
Certain things can be graded but I just don’t see nursing as something that should be based on grades.
“Yes, it’s rather funny, really, that next to no-one realised the snake that Harry set free in Philosopher’s Stone turned out to be Voldemort’s final Horcrux, Nagini.”
